Radicon Move to Elland

Michael Steel & Co have assisted Radicon with their historic move to a new custom designed facility in Elland.

Their relocation is part of the continued investment into the business by Elecon Engineering Group, Asia’s largest and fastest growing gear manufacturer, who bought the Radicon division from David Brown Gear Systems in November 2010.

The new facility at Lowfields Business Park, Elland is twice the size of the former Radicon facility and provides the ideal platform for Radicon to expand and incorporate an engineered product division. The relocation now enables the business to supply bespoke engineering products up to 6,000 KNm to its growing global customer base. The move will also benefit the current standard product division within Radicon, which specialises in industrial gear box, geared motors and worn gears. Equally the larger factory has enabled further expansion of the rapidly growing service and repair division.

Chris Riley, General Manager at Radicon explains;
